Preparing and delivering your prints

Our canvas prints are normally despatched within 7 to 10 days of an picture being received by us. Hand stretching and varnishing takes a little time. If for any reason it is going to take longer than seven days we will always let you know.Our prints are often being ordered as presents or for special occasions. If you need your print by a specific date please let us know and we will do everything we can to meet your deadline

Preparing custom designs and commissions

Photo to art designs can often be achieved in the same timescale. Custom designs and commissions can take a little longer but we will always discuss this with you when you place your order.

If you want to use printed photographs or other materials as a basis of your design please send it to us by registered post so you can be sure your precious items arrive safely. These will be looked after and send back to you with your completed pictures.

Before we send your canvas or poster print

We always send you a proof of your print before we print it so you can be sure everything is the way you want it. Once your print is ready for delivery we will also e mail you letting you know it has been dispatched and when it should arrive. These packagers are fully trackible so we know where your picture is on every step of its journey to you.

Protecting your canvas and poster prints

Our canvas prints are triple wrapped to protect them in transit and sent by parelforce or other specialist couriers. If you want to send them abroad you can also request they are supplied un stretched. In this case they will be dispatched in a cardboard tube

Our poster prints are supplied in flat packs up to A3 in size beyond that we use large cardboard tubes. These tubes are much wider than standard tubes so as to minimize the degree to which the prints are rolled and make them easier to flatten on arrival

Looking after your prints

Our canvas prints are lightfast and wont fade for a 100 years so they can be displayed anywhere inside in normal lighting conditions. They are not designed for outside display. Nevertheless the varnish used is waterproof to protect them from atmospheric pollution and accidental damage. Poster prints are also protected with two coats of a clear water resistant lacquer to ensure they are not damaged by atmospheric pollution. Often these prints are framed which adds further protection but they can be used as posters and displayed just as they are.
